About the Role
The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates to fill positions and meet the company’s growth plans.
Position Responsibilities
- Fosters and markets a best place to work philosophy that builds the company’s brand and attracts top employees.
- Aligns the employee acquisition strategy with the company’s overall brand to include social media, community and college relations programs, internships, employee referrals and other best in class sourcing tactics.
- Design and deploy systems that reflect industry best practices, keeping up with the latest trends in recruiting.
- Drives awareness of employee trends, recruiting best practices and competitive market practices throughout the organization.
- Develops effective relationships with Department leaders by being a trusted and valued partner that understands organizational needs and aligns team members to maximize business results.
- Monitors applicant pool and ensures feedback from hiring managers is timely.
- Source, screen and recommend candidates to meet the company’s growth plans.
- Develop and maintain quantitative and qualitative metrics to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Responsible for professional recruiting for management, salaried, technical, and executive positions; in addition to various hourly positions, as needed.
- Develops and administers recruitment and retention programs in conjunction with property Human Resources leadership using the latest technology.
- Travel to recruiting destinations; conducts employment interviews in order to source qualified applicants.
- Interprets federal and state employment laws and Company policies to ensure consistent application and compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university and /or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess a demonstrated thorough knowledge of all state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Must have extensive knowledge of various interviewing techniques. Must have strong marketing skills and can influence at all levels.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based applicant tracking systems, and portable technologies.
- Previous experience in a multi-faceted Human Resources Recruiting role at a similar facility is preferred.
