Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the dining room, bar, and host/host station
- Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising front of house staff
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front and back of house
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as menus, napkins, and condiments, and place orders as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the food industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of kitchen management and food production processes is a plus
