Job Summary
Our Marina is seeking a reliable office assistant to join our team. As an office assistant we are looking for someone familiar with the daily office duties in an busy setting who can assist in the overall function of our business. Answering phones, speaking in person with slip customers, filing and managing paperwork, general computer skills and knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications, quickbooks. The ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion is essential. We hope to find someone that is motivated to learn and take on new challenges, complete and manage tasks efficiently, be organized, self sufficient and integrate into a part of our team. Candidate should take pride in their work, as well as grow into a role that will positively represent our company. You will work closely with our office manager and the ability to progressively assume more responsibility is expected. Responsibilities and Duties
General administrative duties include:
- Receptionist duties such as answering phones, taking messages, filing and organizing paperwork and job documents, general computer skills, Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Numerical competency and organizational skills
- Managing tasks and completing them efficiently and timely
- Willingness to be trained and learn the unique aspects of our business
- Motivation to learn new things and work effectively
- Ability to organize and prioritize projects
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
