JOB DUTIES : Payroll
Assist with compiling and maintaining documents for CMS regulated nursing hours
Assist with CMS inspections and audits of nursing hours
Assist with Orienting new staff when needed
Assist with Human Resource tasks
Process and maintain accounts payable invoices
Coordinate office activities and operations
Managing office supplies
Handle paperwork and filing
Enter all new employee information into the payroll system. Update other employee status changes as they occur.
Enters approved rate increases timely.
Monitors employee evaluation dates for timely completion and reports any late evaluations to the administrator.
Provide Daily Hours report to all supervisors daily
Process any additional pay for special circumstances. (Shift differentials, bonuses, missing hours, etc.)
Monitor employees that cross over into different departments to ensure they are set up appropriately for each department worked.
Assist the Business Office Manager in the compilation of information needed for all audits
Maintain all payroll reports.
Maintain employee files
Maintain all employee time cards for 7 years as required by labor law.
Follows the facility payroll policy and procedures at all times.
Obtain appropriate approvals for each payroll period to finalize payroll hours.
Ensure in-service hours are being recorded in the payroll system.
Reports employee injuries to workers comp carrier
Follows workers comp cases to closure.
Requirements :
1. High school diploma
2. Some college experience preferred
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Must work well with others
5. Must have two years of experience in processing payroll and account payables in Healthcare.
6. Experience operating office equipment and Microsoft computer applications
REPORTING : The Payroll & Account Payable Processor reports to the Administrator.
