Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Program Manager to spearhead the information technology aspects of our global ERP implementation at Oceaneering. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in successfully managing complex IT projects, especially within the ERP domain. In this role, you will oversee the deployment and integration of the ERP system across our organization.
As the Senior Program Manager for the ERP Implementation, you will play a pivotal role in a transformative project that will enhance our digital infrastructure and streamline our operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company’s efficiency and overall performance within a global context.
The position is based in Houston, Texas. Oceaneering offers a flexible hybrid work environment. You will report directly to the CIO and have accountability to the ERP Steering Committee.
Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Program Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful deployment and integration of an ERP system across Oceaneering. Here are the key duties and responsibilities for this role:
  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the ERP implementation project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Business Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional Business teams, including IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the ERP system.
  • Cross-Functional IT Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, including Applications, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure & Operations, IT Finance, and Security to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the ERP system.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with the System Integration Vendor to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the ERP system.
  • Resource Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the ERP implementation, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and successes
  • Deliverables: Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliverables:
o Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict through active listening, critical thinking, and decisiveness.
o Escalation: Escalate all issues to the appropriate decision makers in a timely manner, with a complete set of facts, alternatives, and recommendations.
o Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging best practices and lessons learned to optimize project outcomes.
o Compliance and Standards: Ensure that the ERP implementation adheres to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
o Training and Support: Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the ERP system.
Qualifications

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years of related IT management experience within a large organization.
  • 5 years of experience in managing large scale global ERP implementation projects.
  • Previous experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud modules, including Oracle Financials (FIN).
DESIRED:
  • Experience implementing Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) strongly desired.
  • Experience implementing Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) preferred.
  • Experience with ERP implementations within the Oil and Gas, Energy, or Offshore industries is desired.
  • Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related Field.
  • MBA Degree.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
