The Associate, OV Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations team to provide outstanding support to all areas of Oceanview. This role will interface regularly with Third Party Administrators (TPA), Distribution clients, and other departments within Oceanview. This is a hybrid role in our Denver, CO office (3 days a week in office). Open to candidates who would like to relocate.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate, OV Operations will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations team to provide outstanding support to all areas of Oceanview. This role will interface regularly with Third Party Administrators (TPA), Distribution clients, and other departments within Oceanview. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues and make observations to management.
- Accountable for overseeing that service levels (SLAs) are met or exceeded, relative to day-to-day insurance policy service.
- Respond to escalated service issues and production problems, while ensuring resolution
- Responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to find and implement improvements (cost, time to deliver and quality) to existing processes and technology solutions.
- Responsible for gathering policy information from our TPA for annual compliance reviews.
- Tasks associated with our third-party vendors includes changes and annual compliance reviews.
- Contribute to the report and audit of key metrics associated with our TPAs; as well as to the automation of reporting and executive dashboards.
- Work closely with channel specialists (Sales/Marketing), to support marketing campaigns and Distribution management.
- Participate in the update and creation of service forms and policy assembly instructions as we add additional products.
- Other duties as needed or required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 4 years’ experience working with independent sales organizations.
- 4 years’ experience working with insurance processes.
- Experience with state insurance producer appointment process.
- Experience with direct customer interaction.
- Experience managing and working in cross-functional teams including external partners.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Strong business acumen especially in the annuity business.
- Working knowledge of insurance or other sales hierarchy structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently set stretch goals and hit targets.
- Ability to analyze complex information and reach reasonable conclusions.
- Assess and manage risks quickly and efficiently.
- Think independently and strategically.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with SalesForce.com or similar CRM solutions.
- This role will be based in Denver, CO
- This role will be Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)
- Base compensation is expected to be $70,000 - 78,000* with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
- Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications/training.
