Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking BC/BE Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our dynamic group of 30 specialized cardiologists at Ochsner Health’s academic flagship. Interest and aptitude in women's cardiovascular disease is preferred.
Successful applicant will spend at least 50% of the time towards women’s cardiovascular care and expanding current women’s cardiovascular program (cardiovascular prevention and cardio-obstetrics) that will include a portion of protected time. This position will be primarily located at our Ochsner Baptist location- our women’s center of excellence for comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care.
The Department of Cardiology includes over 80 cardiologists as members of the Ochsner Health System’s John Ochsner Heart & Vascular Institute, practicing at 5 community locations (Baton Rouge, Kenner, Covington, Slidell, and Marrero) and at our academic medical center in New Orleans.
Ochsner has 2 medical schools, including the Ochsner Clinical School affiliated with the University of Queensland in Australia and the Ochsner/LSU-Shreveport Medical School. ACGME accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Electrophysiology training programs offer the opportunity to engage in research, and to teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows.
