Title : Treasury Analyst
Reports to : Senior Treasury Manager
OCI Enterprises Inc. is the North American subsidiary of OCI Holdings Company Ltd. based in Seoul, South Korea. Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, OCI Enterprises consists of two divisions. Its chemical business operates through OCI Alabama which produces sodium percarbonate and hydrogen peroxide. OCI Enterprises’ energy businesses include OCI Energy, a leading developer of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, and Mission Solar Energy, which designs, engineers, and assembles high-quality solar modules.
JOB SUMMARY :
Under general supervision, the Treasury Analyst will be responsible for daily treasury operations and transactions including cash management and cash reporting activities. This position will also perform financial analysis projects as well as compliance activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Prepare daily cash reports and determine divisional funding needs
- Forecast and monitor short and long-term cash position, and provide actual vs. forecast cash variance analysis
- Support day-to-day operations relating to bank account and fund transfers
- Perform electronic payment processing of domestic and international transactions, including ACH and wire transactions
- Assist Finance Team on various compliance activities
- Prepare treasury-related accounting entries
- Monitor and track various compliance and covenant requirements
- Conduct and document moderate to complex financial analysis projects
- Perform daily treasury operations and transactions in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow
- Prepare ad-hoc financial estimates, budgets, and analyses, and ensures that they are analyzed, commented, and reported accordingly
- Assist in the corporate / project financing to include modeling and scenario analysis
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions, specifically banks
- Assist in foreign exchange transactions
- Support the Finance Team in the preparation and presentation of material to the Executive team
- Follow up on compliance activities within the existing credit facility for OCI Enterprises group
- Assist other finance department personnel and perform special projects as assigned
- Support Insurance Renewal Activities
- Communicate with Treasury officer in Korea
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree or MBA a plus, CTP preferred
