Join OCI as an Account Manager!
OCI is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Account Manager to join our Group Split Case Account Management team. In this role, you’ll manage client relationships, support group benefits processes, and collaborate with brokers and carrier partners. While experience in group benefits is a plus, we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn!

Your Role
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and carrier partners
- Manage assigned accounts, resolve escalations, and ensure compliance
- Analyze claims and account performance to provide strategic insights
- Stay up to date on group benefits trends and regulations
- Able to clearly explain complex concepts to individuals with varying levels of understanding, ensuring information is accessible and easy to grasp
Requirements
Job Requirements
· Associate degree or experience in the insurance industry
· Customer service experience
· Extremely organized and proactive
· Excellent communicator
· Strong research skills
· Flexible and adaptable with an ability to manage multiple priorities
· Strong attention to detail
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
The Rock Star Candidate
- While it is not required for this position, 3-5 years of experience in account management, insurance, or a related field is a definite plus
- Customer service mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to clearly explain complex concepts to individuals with varying levels of understanding, ensuring information is accessible and easy to grasp
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, and group benefits (preferred)
- Brings a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to create raving fans
- Life & Health Insurance License (a plus, but not required)
