Working Title General Maintenance Position Status Full Time Department Facilities and Construction General Summary
Perform installation, repairs and maintenance of plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Specific Position Duties
Maintain tools and keep equipment in clean working order; Maintain acceptable driving record to allow operation of college-owned motorized vehicles; Maintain an acceptable attendance record, be punctual and meet deadlines; Participate in training sessions and seminars.
Preferred Qualifications Reporting Relationship Work Hours Fall Hours: M-T 8 am to 5:30 pm; Friday 8 am - 1:00 pm Summer Hours: M-T 7:30 am to 5:30 pm; closed Friday

Specific Position Duties
- Knowledge and skill to operate commonly used plumbing and mechanical equipment, HVAC and tools.
- Operate air compressors, jack-hammers, backhoes, tractors, trenchers and other equipment.
- Perform excavation required for plumbing, mechanical and HVAC.
- Respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
- Perform other intradepartmental duties as assigned by supervisor or director such as groundskeeping, irrigation system repairs, painting or assisting with basic construction as needed.
