GENERAL SUMMARY:
Odessa College is hiring Sports Center Swim Instructors. As a Swim Instructor, you will lead private and group swim lessons for children and adults under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Sports Center Swim Instructors will be responsible for:
- Coordinating private and group swim lessons with the Aquatics Coordinator and their clients
- Instruct any assigned classes
- Ensure clients are safe during the lessons
- Providing excellent communication skills
- Being punctual, courteous and professional at all times with members and participants
- Teach participants how to swim to the best of their ability
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Instructors must have a Swim Instructor certification, or be able to attain a Swim Instructor certification before beginning teaching
