We are currently searching for a highly motivated candidates to
be our Executive Chef at our Buffalo, NY office!
What we expect
This is a 100% onsite role in Buffalo, NY.
We are looking for a Head Chef for our Buffalo, NY office to provide daily meals for our employees.
You will oversee the entire kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and team management.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can organize and prepare menus for the week with healthy and versatile food. Our office is growing to 400 people this year, and we are looking for someone with experience preparing meals at that scale daily. Responsibilities will include helping to configure the physical space of our new kitchen, choosing equipment and food vendors, and hiring a team of 4-5 people who will report to you.
Schedule : Full-time schedule. Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm. More details upon interview
Responsibilities
- Administration and Management of all food operations
- Direct kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleanup, while maintaining quality and timeliness
- Plan and execute menus for 500 people, balancing creativity, variety, and dietary needs
- Food ordering and management of inventory to ensure stock levels meet operational needs while minimizing waste
- Following budgetary guidelines for food and labor cost
- Hire, train, schedule, manage, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain a motivated and productive team
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for Odoos lunch program
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, coordinating repairs and replacements as needed
- Uphold and ensure compliance with all safety practices; including proper food storage, preparation, and sanitation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align food services with organizational goals and employee satisfaction
- Innovate and introduce improvements to menus, processes, and kitchen operations

What we offer.
The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $60,000-$80,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business needs, and location.
