Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is recruiting a Schedule Management Support Journeyman to support the Attack Systems Division (WID), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WID is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
WIDN is AFPEO/WI’s centralized hub for Pre-LOR (Letter of Request) and Case Development for FMS new business efforts. WIDN will provide temporary support to executing Program Management Offices for case execution. - Develop and maintain IMSs using a project management tool (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), ensuring proper insight into resources and risks.
- Support the Program Manager in integrated master scheduling functions, including reporting, activity integration, schedule risk analysis, and budget impact analysis.
- Work with AFLCMC/WIDN Branch Chief, leadership, and the DMM support to develop and environment that will be utilized to communicate and integrate status and metrics to the AFPEO/WI Directorate.
- Assist the Government in integrating schedules and activities, including providing assessments of resources, identifying and recommending resolutions for resource conflicts, and conducting critical path analyses.
- Review, edit, and explain the schedules received by various organizations.
- Summarize the differences and effects the various schedules have upon each other and the different timelines.
- Assist the Government in managing projects to completion according to prescribed schedules and aid program managers in resolving schedule related issues
- Assist projects in all aspects of program control, program planning, and standards compliance.
- Assess and analyze schedules and make recommendations to the PM regarding the realism of the schedule and any anomalies/conflicts across various schedules.
- Collect and analyze information from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Supplier on recently planned control accounts.
- Maintain, analyze, and brief the schedule using the Tracking Gantt Chart format.
- Apply the critical chain method of scheduling when project duration acceleration is needed to meet mission objectives.
- Analyze schedules to identify possible and experienced risks, including the probability and impact of the occurrence of schedule risks.
- Create, update, and maintain the Government IMS and incorporate the IMS into recurring tasks (e.g., key program documents and briefings) as required.
- Conduct schedule risk/health analyses as required.
- Coordinate internal schedule analyses with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Develop program strategies regarding the IMS; perform milestone planning, tracking, and scheduling; and establish and maintain schedule model databases as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
