Position Summary
You will be responsible for developing, expanding and maintaining the credit union’s relationship with members by gaining an understanding of their financial needs, cross-selling products and services that address those needs and providing a high-quality service experience; while providing additional support to department staff with more complicated member requests.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common, uncommon and complex occurrences of each of the following under general supervision from your manager:
- Actively engage members and establish a high-quality service environment by having a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Educate and cross-sell members on the credit union’s product and service offerings that can help them meet and exceed their financial needs.
- Promptly process member transaction requests on all applicable credit union products and services.
- Administer branch-level cash management procedures.
- Travel, as needed, to other branch offices to provide coverage for co-worker absences.
- Open and close the branch office during branch management absences.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED required AND Internal: minimum 2 years of work experience in a Representative III role; External: minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
