What we’re looking for…
- Our Air Pricing Coordinator plans and directs accounting activities within the Air Pricing Department of OEC Group by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors.
- In the position you’d be primarily responsible for understanding airline routing, warehousing, air freight rate negotiation and dispatching freight.
What you’ll be doing:
- Obtaining and negotiating rates with agents and oversea offices.
- Achieving the company’s Air profit growth by maintaining competitive rates and coordinating with Sales on shipments.
- Understanding all aspects of air import and export shipments including; preparing documentation, data entry, tracing, billing, arranging deliveries, providing quotations, etc.
- Communicating daily with vendors, Sales representatives, and overseas offices.
- Handling special air freight projects and business bids.
- Providing follow-up closely with sales on customer’s feedback of the rate quotes.
- Preparing and maintaining air pricing reports which include; cost, profit, transit time, weight, routing, etc.
- Getting familiarized with entire air operation procedures, airlines’ equipment, transit time and routings.

GDL Office: 7:00 am-4:00 pm/8:00 am-5:00 pm CST
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in international business or equivalent experience
- Around one year of experience in an administrative/clerical type role
- You possess knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Your strengths are prioritizing and being capable of working in a fast-paced environment, you have a good sense of urgency, and remain paying attention to details.
- Advanced English level is a must
