As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in the financial operations of our organization, focusing on transactional processing and maintaining accurate accounting records. This position works closely with the Operations and Sales team to execute complex, time-sensitive accounting tasks and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Accurately execute AP / AR requests, utilizing internal systems and tools.
- Manage sales team commission reports.
- Support the Sales team with invoicing, payment, and purchase order inquiries.
- Support the Operations team with generating quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Review service and sales orders, ensuring billing is accurate.
- Provide general administrative support for technicians and leadership.
- Support general administrative tasks including paper filing, inventory, data entry, and shipment receiving and delivery.
Qualifications:
- 3 years in Accounting or Finance role
- Technically savvy with computer systems (email, web search, printing/scanning)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and professional communication methods
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers and colleagues
