Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic/Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical systems, equipment repair, hydraulic systems, and hydraulic hose assembly. This role involves assembling hydraulic components and hose assemblies, assisting with the manufacturing process, as well as troubleshooting and repairing systems. The technician will work closely with other members of the team, ensuring accurate and timely work.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and components on various machinery.
- Maintain and assemble hydraulic parts, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify potential problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on hydraulic systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Document repairs, maintenance, and production activities accurately for record-keeping.
Experience
- Previous experience as a technician in a similar environment is preferred.
- Understanding of hydraulic systems and standard maintenance practices.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
