We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the execution of a Powertrain Program. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program from planning to delivery, working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, program management experience, and deep knowledge of powertrain technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of powertrain programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, manufacturing) to meet program milestones and customer requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify program risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the program meets technical, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Manage suppliers and external partners to meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement based on lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years in program/project management, with at least 5 years in automotive powertrain or related fields.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage complex programs, excellent leadership and communication skills, and strong technical knowledge of powertrain systems (engines, transmissions, electrification).
- Software: Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Jira) and MS Office. PLM experience is a plus.
- Certifications: PMP, PMI, or similar is a plus.
