What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff position at Of the Land?
Our organic farm is looking to hire someone to work on our small team in our commercial kitchen. We source all local ingredients to make our prepared foods & catering at weddings and events.
The right person for the job loves to be on their feet and enjoys working fast to get stuff done.
Tasks Include:
- Washing, Chopping, and Cooking Vegetables
- Cooking Meat
- Plating at Events
- Doing Dishes & Cleanup
- DOE Making Sauces, Baking, Etc
BOH position; veggie prep, grilling, assisting the catering team.
Weekend availability is a must-- almost all shifts are on Saturdays, with a few Sundays. We have 25 shifts between May - October and need at least 10 shifts as a commitment. Shifts are approximately 1 pm to 8 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Only apply for this job If you are available on the weekends, have reliable transportation, are extremely dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
Pay is $25/hour.
