Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for handling, conceptualizing and overseeing multiple ongoing OFDC projects. The Project Manager will work closely with team members and field supervisors to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. The Project Manager will work diligently to maintain the Gross Profit (GP) for each project. It is the Project Manager’s responsibility to detect gaps that can be closed by projects, collaborating with Field Supervisors and the Vice President of Flooring Operations to propose suitable solutions for the gaps, and overseeing allocations of financial and human resources for the projects. The Project Manager must adhere to stipulated deadlines, track performance across an array of developments, and harness field supervisors’ unique strengths to promote the viability of all projects.
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Effectively collaborating with Field Superintendents managing the jobsite.
- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Identifying and solving areas of concern.
- Managing the GP within the project.
- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- ERP project oversight.
Project Manager Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Experience as a construction project manager is preferred.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Experience overseeing a construction project.
- Budget management experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft suite.
- Proficient in reading digital plans.
- Proficient with scheduling software, CAE, Bluebeam, CAD and other applications.
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
