Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring that all items are handled safely and securely.
- Help transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with drivers to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and during deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery sites.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts when necessary (training may be provided).
- Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols while handling heavy lifting and moving tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physically demanding tasks.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or courier environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with box trucks and basic commercial driving principles is a plus.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on specific job duties.
