What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fry Line Chef position at Off The Hook by J&R Seafood?
Fry Line Chef Duties/Responsibilities:
- Able to work in a busy kitchen environment and on a kitchen line in a team-oriented setting
- Able to follow Company Recipes
- Able to follow Prep Lists and Instructions
- Moderate Knife Skills
- Frying/Line Experience a plus
- Seafood Knowledge Butchery Experience a plus
- Shucking Ability (Oysters, Clams, Quahogs, etc) a plus
- Properly rotates/puts away new Food Deliveries
- Maintains Company Sanitation Practices
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
- Able to follow Pull Lists
- Follows Proper Food Rotation Schedules and FIFO
- Participate in washing, drying and placing away dirty dishes
Other Duties:
- Works together with Front to run an efficient store-front
- Ensures Front has any sauces made and portioned
- Able to take orders, wait on customers and answer the phones
- Maintain integrity of products
- Maintain consistency to the brand
- Ability to train other staff as needed
- Strong communication skills
