As a Dental Assistant at Off The Trace Dental, you will be working alongside a team of experienced dental professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensure the office runs smoothly, and provide excellent care to patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures (fillings, cleanings, crowns, extractions, etc.).
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and process digital X-rays as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure that the office is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide excellent patient care by educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing patient flow, and answering phone calls.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, following OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Dental Assistant certification preferred, but not required).
- No prior dental experience is necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interest in learning about dental assisting and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
