Duties & Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and overall food preparation.
- Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality and presentation standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in menu development, including creating and testing new Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
- Monitor food costs and portion control to maintain profitability.
- Lead by example, ensuring efficiency and professionalism during service.
- Handle kitchen issues as they arise, including staff concerns and operational challenges.
