The Office of the District Attorney for the 9th Judicial District is seeking a Legal Assistant/Office Manager to join our team. Be part of a supportive team working to accomplish meaningful change. Your duties will include:
The Legal Assistant/Office Manager for our Pitkin County office provides comprehensive administrative and legal support, including computer data entry, document preparation, docket management, case file oversight, reception duties, and office management. This position also involves supporting Victim/Witness services and handling other responsibilities as they arise within the scope of the role. A thorough understanding of District and County Court prosecutions, mental health cases, and related legal processes. Additional duties include preparing interstate subpoenas, requests for extradition, and detainers.
Required qualifications:
· Passing of a background investigation
· Authorized to work in the United States
· Prior experience preferred but not required
Starting Salary Range:
$50,000 - $80,000
