General Description
Under general supervision, performs full-performance work in planning, organizing, coordinating, and conducting training for new employee orientation, annual training and workshops. Will coordinate, schedule, and develop training programs and or conduct training sessions. Conduct needs assessments to determine agency training needs, develops assessment mechanism, gathers, and consolidates data, develops summaries of training needs and provides comments and recommendations. Review and recommend or compile and compose materials used in training activities, programs, and video products. Participates in the planning and delivery of code blue drill process and completes reports. Coordinate the hospital's online annual training program. Obtain facilities and equipment necessary for conducting training sessions. maintain necessary training documentation records and prepares evaluations. Performs related duties as required. Mandatory overtime may be required per operational needs for the hospital.
This is a tobacco free campus. Pre-employment drug screening is required. Applicants selected must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. Applicants selected must successfully complete a background check. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in education, communication, counseling, social work, business administration, industrial relations, or related fields.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in teaching, training, or staff development.
Substitution: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in education, communications, counseling, social work, business administration, industrial relations, or related fields may be substituted for one year of experience.
