What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Attorney General – Department of Human Services Division- Bureau for Medical Services position at Office of the West Virginia Attorney General?
The West Virginia Attorney General’s Office seeks a full-time attorney to represent state agencies in our Department of Human Services Division. Candidates will primarily be responsible for litigating matters in federal, state and administrative courts involving the Bureau for Medical Services. Additional work may include researching and drafting briefs, writs, and motions before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and Intermediate Court of Appeals. Additional work may be assigned to this attorney as needed. Strong written and oral advocacy skills are required to be successful in this position. The position is in Charleston, WV; however, other locations in the state will be considered if it is feasible.
