Small family-owned business looking for an Executive Assistat to handle the coordination of Office / HR / IT responsibilities.

The right candidate will grow into the Office / HR Manager position.
You will be assisting in the day to day support of the office. This is more than an office assitant position and requires more than the ability to scan/file and answer phones.
Responsibilites:
Back up the Receptionist. (eg answering phone calls, assisting walk-in customers, etc)
Process payroll weekly
Admininster benefits and answer employee questions
Assist with recruitment efforts
Assist with training classes for employees (plan and execute)
Ensure the office/showroom is customer-ready (cleaning/tidying up as needed, taking care of plants, coordinating maintenance)
Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is working properly
Assist with coordinating and setting up vendor/rep visits
Set up for client visits (presentation materials, food, drinks, IT)
Troubleshoot end-user IT issues and escalate as needed
Assist with supporting sales (bid submittals, design library)
Assist with events and marketing projects (internal/external events, client gifts, other marketing pieces)
Requirements:
Excellent technology skills
Excellent communicatoin, listening skills and follow through
Professional integrity and sound judgement
Team-oriented mindset but is a self-starter able to work individually
High level of self-awarenss and desire for continual improvement
Hard worker, not afraid to roll up sleeves to get the job done
Ability to learn quickly and adjust based on feedback
HR experience
General Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
This position requires working nights/weekends as needed to meet deadlines. This does not happen often, perhaps a handful of times per year. The deadlines cannot be moved and must be met.
You may also need to come in early/stay late to set up/break down for events or meet deadlines.
