What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Captain / Whale Watching position at Offshore Blue Adventures?
Come join Offshore Blue Adventures for a fun & exciting position driving our 22' Zodiac on daily whale and dolphin watching excursions. If you love being with people, seeing whales and playing with dolphins, this is an ideal job. Our year round whale watching trips are a favorite among locals and visitors alike!
- 100 Ton Master Mariner/ Near Coastal credential required.
- The ideal candidate will have experience operating RHIBs in various ocean conditions. Training will be provided.
- Knowledge of marine wild life is a plus: We have several "whale seasons" during the year, and knowledge of the different species and natural histories enhances our guests enjoyment.
- Good communication skills: The ability to communicate well with our guests is required for their safety and the safety of the vessel.
- Candidate will be responsible for getting the boat ready for each excursion, fueling the boat, and cleaning after the final trip of the day.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per day
