Role Overview:
The Clinical Operations Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily clinical operations for Pediatric Critical Care depending on our healthcare facility. This position will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of patient care, staff management, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight: To Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Staff Management: Cultivate a skilled and dedicated nursing team by focusing on recruitment, comprehensive training, and professional development, while promoting excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee innovative quality assurance programs to uphold regulatory compliance and patient safety, driving excellence in care delivery.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency in clinical operations.
- Budget Management: Assisting in budget planning, budget control, optimizing resource allocation and reducing operational costs wherever necessary.
- Patient Parent Satisfaction: Coordinate and cooperate with our Clinical and Administrative Teams to enhance patient parent satisfaction and ensure an Optimistic healthcare journey.
- Reporting: Generate regular detailed reports on performance indicators and identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Improved Patient Care: By refining clinical operations, we can provide better care, leading to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Cost Reduction: Optimizing processes and resource distribution will drive efficiency, leading to significant cost reductions.
- Higher Staff Retention: Enhanced staff training and support will result in greater job satisfaction and reduced turnover rates.
- Performance Management: Regularly conducting ongoing performance evaluations, documenting, giving feedback and discipline as required.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Current RN license in Washington State
- ASN accepted, BSN bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum 3-5 years of RN clinical experience, preferably in neonatal /pediatric critical care.
- Should have strong experience in managing Trach-ventilator care for pediatric patients.
- Should have good experience in NICU or ICU.
- Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive changes in a cutting-edge organization.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to and safely adopt new technical systems and skills as needed.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical excellence in the provision of medical intensive care, specifically with babies 0-5 years.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in patient care.
