Position Summary
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director the Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day finance function as well as preparing monthly financial closing and related reporting for Corporate Functions. This position is also responsible for the financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance. The Finance Manager interacts with several levels of finance and businesses management and will be an essential strategic business partner. The ideal candidate will effectively manage their time and resources to improve processes, provide accurate and timely information, and help to identify and execute opportunities.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, analyze financial activities and performance against budget and recommend action.
- Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the business.
- Collaborate and provide routine business support to enable informed decision-making.
- Oversee / manage all aspects of the monthly close process to ensure complete, accurate and timely monthly actual results, including variance analysis.
- Complete all aspects of inventory, risk and compliance reporting.
- Manage and / or support complex internal and external audit and reporting projects.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

New Hire Base Salary Range in Chicago, IL 84-140k
