As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the hiring process, scheduling, and ensuring the company operates within the confines of the law. Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Hiring: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making final hiring decisions. Collaborate with department heads to identify workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Employee Scheduling: Create and maintain employee work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage while taking into account employee availability and business demands.
Legal Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with the latest requirements.
Payroll: Process payroll for approximately 200 employees at 4 locations and Assist Finance department with Payroll processing
Employee Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, conducting orientations to familiarize employees with the company's culture, policies, and procedures.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers on conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and addressing performance-related issues.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, working to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Assist employees in understanding and utilizing their benefits effectively.
HR Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases, and personnel files in compliance with data protection regulations.
Policy Development: Collaborate with leadership to develop and update HR policies, ensuring they align with the company's goals and promote a fair and inclusive work environment.
