The Assistant Softball Coach is responsible for aiding the Head Coach in recruiting athletes, teaching proper technique, the safety of the athletes, as well as character development of the basketball players. They will help oversee game planning and preparation. Create in collaboration with the Head Coach the development of a winning attitude on and off the court for players and coaches. Responsible for all necessary paperwork, meetings, adherence to district and state policies/procedures, and attending all practices and games as directed by the Head Coach. They will be responsible for coordinating softball program schemes and philosophies with feeder programs and all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- If you are an hourly ESP with Ogden School District, this is considered a voluntary position for which you will receive a nominal fee.
