What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Property Manager position at Ogden Housing Authority?
Duties include showing and leasing apartments, interviewing applicants, rent collection, enforcing lease, maintaining curb appeal, eligibility verification, and performing annual re-certifications, assist in collecting rents, and unit inspections and other duties that would assist the Property Manager. This position will coordinate with other staff to ensure tenants are following the lease and tenant needs are being met.
Minimum one year property management experience is required. Knowledge of HUD rental programs and/or Tax Credit programs relating to affordable housing is also preferred but not necessary. Must enjoy people and enjoy helping people. Must have a great attitude towards work and others. Must be computer literate; very organized; detail oriented; good mathematical skills and reasoning. Must have the ability to work with all socio-economic backgrounds including elderly, disabled and very low income individuals/families. Bi-lingual a plus. Position is fulltime, Monday - Friday. Position may be required to carry a rotating after hours phone to respond to property and tenant related concerns.
