Summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team at Oghosa Homecare and Transportation. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in your care. Your contributions will be essential in providing support and assistance that fosters independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific requirements.
• Support clients in social activities and community engagement.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and any changes in their condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs.

Requirements

• Experience in memory care or senior care preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
• Ability to work with individuals with autism and disabilities is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude towards clients.
• Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide detailed documentation.
