We're looking for a Shift Supervisor to manage operations and oversee day-to-day priorities at our cutting-edge facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with a team of skilled professionals, helping to keep the plant running smoothly while contributing to the local community's power needs.
What You'll Do
- Lead Operations: Oversee scheduling, workforce management, and maintenance programs to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
- Hands-On Work: Operate control boards, assist with start-ups and shutdowns, and perform production technician tasks.
- Train and Develop Teams: Coordinate technical training and ensure team members achieve maximum proficiency.
- Improve Processes: Troubleshoot equipment, enhance plant operations, and design new system installations to keep our facility at its best.
- Drive Compliance: Lead safety and compliance efforts under OSHA, EPA, NERC/SERC, and other regulations.
- Support Management: Handle budgeting, planning, reporting, and contractor projects to help keep everything on track.
What We're Looking For
- Experienced Leadership: At least 10 years of experience in power plant operations (nuclear, coal, or gas-fired), with supervisory experience. Rotating shift operations or control room experience preferred.
- Adaptable Education: High school diploma required, but college or technical school in related fields and equivalent experience will be highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting, computer proficiency, and ability to work with manuals, drawings, and predictive maintenance data.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, complete a physical and respirator fit test, and discern equipment operation colors

Salary : $96,000 - $120,000
