Position Summary
Our Portland office is seeking an attorney with 8 years of experience in employment litigation to join our growing practice. This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in litigation, working directly with client representatives and opposing counsel. The successful candidate will be able to handle litigation matters largely independently. The ideal candidate will have class or collective action experience or other complex litigation experience, but this is not a requisite. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings, attending court conferences, managing discovery-related activities and investigations, and preparing position statements and dispositive motions. Requirements
- Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in either Oregon or Washington. However, extremely strong candidates interested in relocating to the Pacific Northwest and licensed to practice law in other states would also be considered. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
- Candidates must have 8 years of employment litigation experience either in-house or at a law firm.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills are required.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
