About the Role:
Ohalo seeks a high-energy individual to build, expand, and manage best-in-class people programs, policies, and systems to support our growing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, immigration, data requests, and offboarding.
- Be the face of HR, managing day-to-day employee relations, issues, problems, concerns, and needs.
- Build and maintain employee data across HR systems, including new hires, terminations, organization structure changes, job changes, and compensation changes.
- Develop and improve our people programs, including leadership development and performance management.
- Maintain and revise internal HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, compensation coordination, and candidate offer and closing processes.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in HR/People Ops, preferably working on a lean team in an operating company.
- Growth-stage private company experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, HR operations, and local/regional recruitment specifics.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to own complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, work autonomously, and manage time effectively.
