Key Responsibilities
- People Operations: Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, immigration, data requests, and offboarding, to ensure a great employee experience.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the face of HR, manage day-to-day employee relations, and oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- HR Operations: Build and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across HR systems, including new hires, terminations, organizational changes, job changes, and compensation updates.
- Program Development: Develop and improve our people programs, including leadership development and performance management, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
- Policies & Procedures: Maintain and revise internal HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk, supporting the organization's goals and objectives.
- Recruiting Operations: Oversee the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, compensation coordination, and candidate offer and closing processes, to attract and retain top talent.
- Total Rewards: Analyze compensation and benefits, research and propose pay, equity, and benefits programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Compliance: Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, reviewing and modifying policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in HR/People Ops, preferably working on a lean team in an operating company.
- Growth-stage private company experience.
- Developed point of view, experience, and recommendations around what makes for a successful People function, including experience with different benefits, performance management, and leadership development systems and tools.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, HR operations, and local/regional recruitment specifics.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to own complex projects with multiple stakeholders at any level in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, work autonomously, and manage time effectively.
