Salary Range
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $110,000-$190,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job Description
People Operations
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle for Ohalo, including onboarding, transfers, immigration, data requests, and offboarding.
- Ensure a great employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Employee Relations
- Be the face of HR, managing day-to-day employee relations, issues, problems, concerns, and needs.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
HR Operations
- Build and maintain employee data across HR systems, including new hires, terminations, organization structure changes, job changes, and compensation changes.
Program Development
- Develop and improve our people programs, including leadership development and performance management.
Policies & Procedures
- Maintain and revise internal HR policies and procedures for contractors, exempt, and nonexempt employees to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Recruiting Operations
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, compensation coordination, and candidate offer and closing processes.
Total Rewards
- Analyze compensation and benefits to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Compliance
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Strategy
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's people strategy.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in HR/People Ops, preferably working on a lean team in an operating company.
- Growth-stage private company experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, HR operations, and local/regional recruitment specifics.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to own complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to prioritize, work autonomously, and manage time effectively.
- High EQ, comfort with ambiguity, and a 'no job is too small' mentality.
- Demonstrated professional maturity to retain and secure sensitive information with objectivity, discretion, and tact.
