The Position:
We're looking for a passionate Billing Clerk to assist with billing and collection of insurance claims and private statements. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with billing and collection of statements, claims, and invoices for Private, Medicaid, Medicare and Hospice.
- Assist with reconciliation of accounts.
- Provide timely updates to billing staff and Business Office Manager.
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service by telephone and/or written communication.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year billing/accounts receivable experience, healthcare preferred.
- Posses attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
