Seeking dedicated mental health professionals to join Ohel's Project Launch team. The program intends to promote the wellness of young children, from birth to 8 years of age, by addressing the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral aspects of their development, preparing young children to thrive in school and beyond.
As a member of the Project Launch team, Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) consultants will work closely with staff and doctors at medical practices in Brooklyn, where they will provide mental health screenings to parents for perinatal mood disorders in OB-GYN offices, mental health screening for children in pediatrician offices, consultation, referrals to treatment, and evidence-based parenting programs. The ECMH consultants will develop and maintain positive working partnerships with staff and will provide training and guidance regarding trauma-informed practices as well as maternal mental health.
Master’s level clinician with MSW, MHC, CAT degree or similar required; Bilingual Yiddish, Hebrew required. Two years of experience working with young children and families is preferred. Training and supervision are provided in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment. Excellent salary, commensurate with experience. This full-time position based in Brooklyn.
