Admission Intake Specialist
Job description
Job Summary : he Admission Intake Specialist would be responsible for answering inbound phone calls from individuals seeking treatment or their loved ones, conducting over-the-phone assessments, and performing the initial admission check-in process.
Role and Responsibilities :
Conducting over-the-phone assessments with individuals prior to their admission
Communicating with insurance company portals to obtain specific coverage information
Assisting with data management
Learning how to navigate / facilitate inbound calls from potential clients
Assisting Admissions Director with follow ups and client acquisition
Qualifications : Detailed-oriented
Clear communication skills
Work experience with insurance providers and or sales is preferred
Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
High School Diploma or GED
