Description:
Allstate Can, a division of The Ohio Art Company, is in search of a Maintenance Technician.
This position will be required to work 4 days a week (M-Th 6a-4:30pm) with overtime potential on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on automation equipment, focusing on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues in PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems.
- Interpret and modify electrical schematics, ensuring system integrity.
- Coordinate with client supervisors to implement effective preventive maintenance plans.
- Document maintenance processes and equipment modifications.
- Provide field service support, identifying and resolving issues to prevent equipment failure.
Technical Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience in industrial maintenance & automation.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting.
- Experience with troubleshooting control systems circuitry.
- Knowledge of can making processes is a plus.
