The Industrial Painter will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and protective qualities of our products.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques including spray, brush, and roller methods.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently during the painting process.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that finished products meet specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Assist in basic fabrication tasks as needed, including assembly and materials handling.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields such as auto body repair or construction painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto painting techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts or other materials handling equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
