SUMMARY: Ohio CAT is looking to add to our Parts team. The Parts Specialist position will play a vital role in maintaining parts that are critical for our customers. You will pull and pack parts orders, ship, receive and stock parts received via company shuttle, truck freight, and UPS and you will prepare outgoing components for our truck, common carrier, and shuttle. They will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving, and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. If you have background with warehousing, shipping/receiving, and or parts and components, we want to talk with you!
COMPETENCIES: Highly motivated, have a positive attitude, be customer oriented and be willing to function in a team environment; Computer proficiency using MS Office and familiarity and experience within a database environment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: A High School diploma or equivalent is required; Five or more years of previous warehouse experience; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Assist with receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk in customers, and completing all paperwork; Extending optimal customer care; preform basic warehouse duties including accurate counting, receiving/shipping parts, and process warranty items and building a hose.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling; Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers; Dexterity Normal; Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs; Ability to work in a fast passed environment; The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
