Position Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School of Business and Government® Adjunct Faculty member to join Ohio Christian University. The adjunct faculty will provide quality onsite and/or online instruction to graduate/undergraduate students, using the university's learning management software (Brightspace).
- Online Adjuncts:
- Teach online and asynchronous undergraduate/graduate level business courses, based on a pre-established curriculum
- Actively participate in weekly student discussions, providing constructive and timely feedback
- Submit weekly attendance and grade assignments and exams in a timely manner, providing robust feedback (video, voice recording, or written)
- Be available to students for individual questions
- Write new or revise current courses, as needed
- Participate in adjunct faculty meetings, as needed
- Onsite Adjuncts:
- Teach onsite undergraduate level courses with curriculum you develop based on course description and course/program objectives.
- Hold office hours.
- Submit attendance and grade assignments/exam on a timely basis.

- Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA, Masters in Management/HR/Marketing/etc.) with 18 graduate credits in specialty/area to be taught is required. Doctoral degree in business or management, or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level, on campus or online
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to adult student success
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse students and colleagues
- Experience teaching online using a learning management software (e.g., Brightspace, Blackboard, Canvas etc.) preferred
- Experience developing curriculum preferred
- Preference is given to those who can teach onsite.
