Provides oversight and direction to Maintenance staff and participates in the following: assures timely
completion of work orders, assigning daily tasks and scheduling, making sure departments remain productive.
Sets goals with staff and evaluates maintenance staffing on an annual basis. Coordinates maintenance projects
with all department leadership involved making sure PCRAs are completed and followed accordingly. Manages
grounds upkeep. Assist in completion of facility regulatory audits, following department PM and audit calendar.
Follows all OCH policies and assures staff does the same. Has ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Is a team player and encourages staff to be the same. Has strong written and oral communication. Must have
ability to perform, solve, and utilize resources appropriately. Upholds OCH vision of providing Outstanding Care
Here by providing excellent service within the departments supervised. Complies with OCH vendor agreements.
Adheres to department budgets, with ability to prepare cost estimates and budget reports. Versed in Microsoft
Office (word, excel, outlook). Must utilize the electronic maintenance program to retrieve and close work
orders, run productivity reports and manage equipment within the program. Works closely with Director of
Facilities and EOC team to assure regulatory and compliance standards are met. Other duties may be assigned.
May be requested to be member of EOC team. Frequently accesses email to stay up to date on information
within the organization and provides a way of communication between staff members. Performs all procedures
according to established policies and procedures of OCH and adheres to legal compliance policies and other
regulatory issues
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience, with at least 2
years preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical,
plumbing, and medical gas systems. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management systems)
and work order management.
Maintenance management in a healthcare setting. Holds a skilled trade within maintenance such as HVAC,
electricity and/or plumbing. Must maintain a valid KY driver’s license and have the ability to be insured on the
OCH automobile insurance policy.
Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification preferred. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety
standards.
