GENERAL SUMMARY: Plans, organizes and implements Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation’s technical projects by providing organization and structure. Maintains relationships between IT and the business to ensure project alignment. This position may be eligible to work from home as established in the Work from Home Policy, based on business needs, and with supervisor approval.
JOB SCOPE:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Leads daily stand-up meetings and provides oversight on daily business activities, facilitating team cooperation to overcome any roadblocks. - 20%
- Provides business support by triaging reported issues and requests relating to applications, infrastructure, security, or outages and prioritizing/delegating them. - 20%
- Develops project scope, time estimates, and work plans to meet business objectives. - 20%
- Works with IT Manager on strategic planning for long-term strategy, direction, and objectives. - 10%
- Gains agreement and sets expectations for business users on timelines for feature rollouts, enhancements, and bug fixes. - 10%
- Helps to manage releases and creates release notes for each major release. - 5%
- Conducts post implementation meetings to identify lessons learned to inform the success of future projects. - 5%
- Provides assistance organizing business continuity/disaster recovery-related activities. - 5%
- Supports rotating on-call activities for PWP uptime. - 5%
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
- Direct relevant experience can be substituted for education.
- 4 years of related experience in addition to the requirements in the Experience section below.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
