FISCAL SUPPORT
- River Valley Local Schools
- 260 day contract
- Fiscal Support
- Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
- Experience using eFinancePLUS fiscal software preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with confidential information
- Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Prepare contracts for board meetings, distribute to employees and manage files.
- Monthly project cash requests (PCRs) for grants with ODEW
- Fixed Asset tracking & reporting in eFinance fiscal software for audit purposes
- Staff EMIS
- Preparing timesheets for entry
- Work with the payroll specialist to calculate overtime, when applicable, and send FLSA overtime calculation to employees on or before pay day
- Entering new employees in eFinance fiscal software & ensure they have accurate paperwork / forms
- Terminating / deactivating staff in eFinance fiscal software
- Manage insurance enrollments & COBRA notifications with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and supplemental benefit providers
- Semiannual certifications for employees paid from federal grants
- Rental agreement paperwork and billing
- Assist with deposit data entry when needed
- Assist with placing orders when needed
- Oversee student activity paperwork, manage fundraising forms, budget & purpose statements
- Prepare annual salary notices
- Deposits to bank
- Filing and scanning
- Assist other Treasurer's Office staff when needed
- Become notary public for the district
- Answer phones
- Other duties assigned by the Treasurer, when necessary
- State and Federal background checks required
